Surgical Intervention

• Patient was scheduled for multiple orthopedic surgical procedures on his lower right arm:

  –	Endoscopic carpal tunnel release
  –	Ulnar nerve transposition
  –	Right elbow arthroscopy with lysis of adhesions, debridement, and loose body removal

• Surgery was planned for the winter due to his worsening condition and to accommodate his reduced work load
• Post-surgical plan requires a period of daily or BID prophylaxis
